There are no words to adequately express my sympathy for the devastation and profond loss
you must be feeling at this sad time. May it help to know that Val will never be forgotten by those whose lives she touched,
especially in Casino Corner. She was the life of the party many times. May your own cherished memories bring you comfort.

Dear Paul and Sara It was unbelievably sad to hear the tragic news about Val's sudden death. She was the smartest, kindest,
friendliest person anyone could wish to meet. Val and I were friends from the minute we met in 1985, and our
children did the same, the twins Marcus and Ali were friends with Sara and little Jade. Val, Isobel and I partied together
and were known as the "Witches of Eastwick" by Paul and the rest of the neighbours at Casino Corner.
We had a ball and Val loved a good time with friends she was "fun" to be with. She was a lady --- a wonderful lady --- an impossible act to follow. The world is a sadder place today without her in it. What can I say...I
was an honour to have been her friend. I send love and sympathy to you both and the twins and I want you to know that
we will treasure all of our wonderful memories of Val, Sara and Paul love Joan, Marcus and Ali
